Day 1 — There Is a Way Back

RETURN · RECOVER · REBUILD — A seven-day beginning with MORE Souls

Scripture excerpt — 2 Corinthians 5:18 (KJV): “who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ”

Read 2 Corinthians 5:17–21 — King James Version

Reflection

Sometimes we approach God as though we must first repair everything that is broken. We promise to return when our habits improve, our questions disappear, or our lives look more respectable.

Paul places the beginning elsewhere: reconciliation comes from God through Jesus Christ. The surrounding passage points to Christ’s saving work and calls people to be reconciled to God. The invitation rests on His grace.

Returning begins with honesty. You can acknowledge your sin, your distance, and your need for mercy. Trusting Christ also means being willing to follow Him into a changed life.

You may still have difficult conversations and practical repairs ahead. God’s invitation gives you a place from which to begin.
